RURAL PLANNING AND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT(ARDA)

Rural development concerns the entire agricultural or non-agricultural population, working or living in rural areas. It consists in the application of measures intended to allow, in the rural environment, a better use of natural resources, according to the needs of the population. It takes into account the improvement of the habitat and the living conditions, that is to say the problems of collective equipment.

Agricultural development is a general process of transformation of agriculture. It is most often guided by public policies or by the intervention of actors  international organizations that finance and implement agricultural development projects, which are one-off interventions designed to steer agricultural development in the desired direction.
