Evaluation is the systematic assessment of the design, implementation or outcomes of an initiative for the purpose of learning or decision-making (Canadian Evaluation Society). In practice, it is a rigorous and systematic process of collecting and analyzing evidence about interventions in order to improve them or make judgments about their value and thus inform decision-making.<\/p>
